Alex Cavegn (they/them) is a Queer creative from the Twin Cities.

Alex has trained as an actor all over the world, from the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and Interlochen Arts Camp, across the pond to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and back to the US for an exchange semester at Carnegie Mellon University.

While living in Scotland, Alex was a founding member of Good Bread Theatre, whose inaugural production, Bad Habit, had a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since returning to the States, they have worked as an actor, creator, comedian, and teaching artist, including guest teaching at SPCPA and developing and performing in new work.

Alex is particularly drawn to new, Queer, and socio-political work that leaves you asking, “What the fuck was that?”—preferably with a smile on your face. They love making work that builds community, pokes at uncomfortable topics, and isn't afraid to have a little fun along the way.

All in all, Alex is GAAAAy with a big heart and a hunger that can only be satisfied by soft chocolate chip cookies.
